Why do people distort the main reason behind most of the famous holidays? Why has our society degraded to one stereotype in which everyone must follow?
Why do people distort the main reason behind most of the famous holidays?
Well this is a dynamically harsh subject to touch upon because this is where many different little issues that pops up here. I believe that this issue involves the main reason of where most businesses are based on. Such as: originally Christmas was made for Jesus the coming savior of the Christians. I am trying to look at this from a total neutral View. as I was saying, it was supposed to be a time of joy and, Praise. Now today it is the coming of Santa, (yes i know that this is a cut of- of St. Nick and his expedition travelling from door to door, giving presents.) But now there is the flying Santa, the reindeers, lights, the moving objects, the icicles, the snowballs, villages, and I could keep going and going. If you want to take Easter as the example it is not as badly distorted but the idea of the bunny is totally made up, it is supposed to be about the resurrection of Jesus the Christian savior. where do ideas like this come from? well it is partly due to the fact that people can make lots and lots of continuous money off of such holidays because of lights and such materials. Businesses are based on such holidays, and they are flourishing from year to year. Soon Easter is going to be just as bad as Christmas is.
Why has our society degraded to one stereotype in which everyone must follow? (In speaking Of Appearance mostly)
Why has society been degraded to following one stereotype which continues to kill, and hurt many people in the process of being like him/her. This is due to the fact of the Expectancy of Men and women these days, People want to see more of this "stereotype" in their B/F, G/f, spouse, or friend, just because they want to be "good looking." This is Based upon Celebrities, Presidents (omitting Bill Clinton, And Nixon), and anyone with power that holds the people's respect and dignity. This may sound cheap, but think of this have you ever seen someone look at Arnold Swar. and say "I'll Be Back" Hey it may be from a movie but they see him as a heroic person with strength and dignity, with courage and POWER! Everyone’s seen it, the media reflects this "stereotype" that we need to be, to follow, and to Love, though we may not like it. What this society should be like is one in which everyone has their own stereotype in which they look for, but that’s not gonna EVER happen, at least not in my life time. If you look at our society, if it was the way it should be there would not be any bulimic or anorexic people. that is a diseases that has originated from the torturer of thinking your are constantly FAT! All in all, many people would not be the way they are today (including me) if they had the society it should be. Once again different businesses are trying to cash into this growing problem, there are models, and actors, and there are the face junk and Body wash and many different cosmetics related materials. there would not be as large as demand for working products/ a market as there would be today. Not only this but bands, and music related things, are getting into the view. Altogether they make el perfecto stereotype.
Can this be changed? will it be changed?
I am starting to think at this can not be changed,
